Another “exam” passed…

Arden Fine Wines is now a fully-registered and compliant Temporary Registered Consignee with HMRC.

It means that Arden is an excise trader that is authorised to receive duty-suspended excise goods from EU member states on a consignment by consignment basis.

Arden Fine Wines‘ first direct offering from abroad is from Ormaevinae Pontassieve in Chianti Rufina, Tuscany.

The 2017 PRIMÆ red wine is a 50-50 “Super Tuscan” blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes from a single vineyard that lies 350 metres above sea-level.

It’s good for 10-15+ years ageing – if you can resist drinking it before then.

Only 2,900 bottles were made, each of which is numbered and sealed by hand with a wax capsule.
