Freddie was born in Angoulême, between Bordeaux and Cognac, and studied at The Sorbonne and King’s College, London.
She became a lawyer and then an investment banker, spending 25 years in the Square Mile.
Under the nom de plume of Freddie P. Peters, she is the author of the “Henry Crowne” series of financial and espionage thrillers.
In addition to her writing, Freddie supports several arts organisations. She is a Patron of Artangel and Tate and sits on the Finance Committee of the Henry Moore Foundation. She chairs the Legal Committee and sits on the Finance Committee of DACS (Design and Copyright Society). She supports young and mid-career artists by collecting their works through a number of “small but super” galleries.
She is a former Non-Executive Director at Brunel Pension Partnership Ltd.
Freddie is also involved with mentoring at King’s College London and The Prince’s Trust.
